Client: Spirit Lutheran
I designed the logo for Spirit Lutheran to represent our faith and to unify our two congregations. The symbolism within the logo reflects the spirit of God through all of us. As the dove logo represents the Holy Spirit, for the Spirit like dove descended upon Jesus' baptism. Christ is depicted through a cross in the knoll below, representing the crucifixion and burial of our savior. He is also light of the world, and is reflected through flames trailing behind the doves' wings. The Holy Spirit like dove ascends above the death of Christ, as our own spirit shall find the light to eternal life with God.
